Senior receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1844168' first='Kyson' last='Gana'] had an all-time game, recording four touchdowns on five catches for 224 yards, showcasing his top-tier explosiveness. The part of Kyson's game that stood out the most was his burst and speed once he found the open field. He's a great hands receiver who plays with great concentration, following the ball through the catch process. Once he has the ball in his hands, he practically turns into an RB with his ability to explode downfield while weaving through traffic to find open lanes. Once he sees green grass, he's able to hit his next gear to outrun the defense to the endzone.

Notable Standouts:

[player_tooltip player_id='1085202' first='Evan' last='Greenfield'], 2027 - QB/ATH - 6'2" 180 lbs - (@Evgreenfield22)

Despite some opportunistic turnovers from the Waverly defense, QB [player_tooltip player_id='1085202' first='Evan' last='Greenfield'] still put up some big numbers as he continued to show his dual-threat abilities. Greenfield completed 12 of 24 pass attempts for 310 yards and four passing touchdowns, to go with an additional 52 rushing yards (5 carries). What stands out the most about Evan's game is his ability to use his legs either to run it himself or to extend the play as he evades defenders. While maneuvering the pass rush, he does a great job keeping his eyes downfield and can even direct traffic to get his receivers into open spots. He has solid arm strength, showing he can fit the ball into tight windows and can push it downfield with accuracy. On top of his offensive duties, Greenfield also connected on all four of his PAT attempts. Definitely someone to start monitoring in the '27 cycle!

[player_tooltip player_id='779708' first='Markus' last='Nelson'], 2026 - RB - 5'10" 200 lbs - (@MarkusNelson19)

Senior [player_tooltip player_id='779708' first='Markus' last='Nelson'] was the workhorse back for the Norris offense as he kept pounding away at the opposing defense, averaging 6 yards a clip. Nelson finished the game with 22 carries for 132 yards and a rushing touchdown. Markus may not be the biggest back out there, but he does possess a strong, sturdy 5'10" 200-pound frame that resembles a runaway train when he gets momentum going. He is a very physical back who does a great job using his low center of gravity and pad level to drive through defenders/tackles. Nelson flashed excellent contact balance as he managed to stay upright through contact when attacking the middle of the field. Great burst when hitting his gap and can really explode once he finds open field. One of the top available backs in the '26 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1986589' first='Aaron' last='Godtel'], 2026 - DB - 5'11" 150 lbs

Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1986589' first='Aaron' last='Godtel'] is another "under-the-radar" player who had a bit of a breakout game, at least in my eyes, with some great plays out of the Norris secondary. Godtel shut the door on two Waverly drives with a couple of interceptions that helped swing momentum for the Titans. He made very instinctive plays in coverage and showed the physicality to challenge receivers at the catch point.

[player_tooltip player_id='1986591' first='Anden' last='Papik'], 2027 - DL/TE- 6'5" 225 lbs - (@Papik2027)

Another player whom I think coaches should start keeping close tabs on for the '27 class is [player_tooltip player_id='1986591' first='Anden' last='Papik']. His numbers may not pop off the screen with three tackles on the night, but he managed to stand out on the field physically. Standing at 6'5" and 225 pounds, Anden already has the size that projects well to the next level, and he has great length to his frame to help win matchups on the line of scrimmage. Papik plays with a tremendous motor that keeps him running from snap to whistle. Physical blocker on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively he has the athleticism and verstaility to play defensive end or outside LB at the next level.

Make sure to follow @PRZ_OscarG for more news on Nebraska and Iowa HS recruiting.
