As we head into week 8 of the North Coast Section season, there is no shortage of next level caliber players that are still available and putting big numbers, along with some commits that are stamping the end of their careers with a splash. Below we will dive into some prospect and performance analysis of the regions top stars from week 7 and what the tale of the tape is.    Thomas is one of the top available prospects left in northern California and is a jumbo athlete that can play on either side of the ball at the next level but projects as a tight end hybrid in college. He is a smooth runner with the ball, chunks yardage downfield and has strong hands in traffic, highpoint abilities and is physical after the catch. Thomas is a true mismatch nightmare anywhere on the field, and erupted again on Friday night going for 144 yards and 1 touchdown. He should be close to closing in on the 1,000 yard marker by the end of the regular season and has the Wildcats primed for a late post-season run.     The San Jose commit is one of the top passers across northern California and has a very strong arm with elite athleticism for his size and is a very high IQ passer that can zip the ball into tight windows. He has been a multi-year starter for one of the top programs in the north coast section and is having a tremendous senior year so far. The senior passer erupted in a tight NBL-Adobe clash with Windsor and accounted for five touchdowns and had his way with the Jaguars defense. He is a P4 caliber signal caller with the ideal athleticism and frame for a pocket passer with plus athleticism and is a very nice get for the hometown Spartans.     The Dublin product has been on a absolute tear in his senior season and has been churning out top rushing performances week in and week off so far this year. He is a physical and dynamic player that has true open field speed, short area twitch in tight spaces with start/stop abilities and can consistently break arm and ankle tackles in the open field while also a dynamic pass catcher in the flats as well. He should be drawing college attention through his senior year and should be a no-brainer for the D2/NAIA/D3 ranks. He had a very nice showing in week 7 and ran for 250+ yards and 2 scores in a lopsided win over Granada.     Youngblood has been one of the best kept secrets across the north coast section since his sophomore year where he broke out in the D2 section title game at Diablo Valley College. He is a true burner on the outside with long strides and elite speed to create seperation and has outstanding tracking abilities over the top and body control when making off-platform catches. Also an elite defender that shuts down the entire back end of the field, he erupted on Friday night against Salesian and ended up with 3 interceptions and found the end-zone plenty of times as well for the Gauchos.     Henley is one of the top players across the state in this 2027 class and has elite speed and big play abilities on both sides of the ball and has offers from the likes of ASU, Arizona, Cal, Oregon State and SJSU and should really blow up this off-season heading into his senior year. He had a big time performance on Saturday afternoon with two touchdowns and was all over the place and in the backfield defensively. Look for the talented athlete to gather some national offers this off-season and his commitment will be one to watch as well.
