The bulk of Louisiana's top-ranked seniors announced college commitments prior to the season, but several talented 2026 student-athletes are still looking for their signing-day landing spots.

Here's a look at five players in the top 50 of Prep Redzone Louisiana's preseason class rankings, all of whom we have projected as Division-I prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='920695' first='Ke'Rynn' last='Smith'] — 5-9, 175 RB — Holy Cross

The first of two running backs who have been highly ranked on Prep Redzone Louisiana's 2026 list throughout their high school careers. Smith is the most thickly built of PRZLA's top senior running backs for the class and has shown good power through contact and the ability to break through some attempted tackles, but he is also a decorated track athlete who has competed in state championships in that sports.

[player_tooltip player_id='710978' first='Alvin' last='Celestin'] Jr. — 5-9, 160 RB/ATH — Terrebonne

Celestin is the smaller, quicker and more versatile athlete of Louisiana's top remaining uncommitted running backs. He possesses good strength and toughness at his size, as well as good ball skills — traits that have made him a three-phase playmaker at different times in his high school career, including the ability on offense to be effective as either a back or a receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='401735' first='Antonio' last='Gladney'] — 5-10, 175 ATH — Parkway

Gladney was the highest ranked of this bunch early on in high school before missing time and seeing his recruitment never fully take off. He's another prospect who has excelled in a variety of roles throughout his career, proving himself dangerous as both a running back and receiver and taking and running with opportunities to be a defensive playmaker in the secondary. However things develop over the next few months and beyond, Gladney is a prospect with the potential to be a steal if he can land in the right fit for college.

[player_tooltip player_id='1238574' first='Ze'land' last='Young'] — 6-4, 190 WR/TE — Neville

The tall, lean pass-catcher has been a player PRZLA has flipped back and forth from WR/TE to TE/WR and likely back following this season as he has continued to develop and tackle whatever role and reps the Tigers have asked of him, including a junior campaign in which he earned all-district recognition as a tight end and now a senior season as a go-to-weapon on the outside and one of the state's most productive receivers so far in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='710969' first='Gregory' last='Wilfred'] — 5-9, 165 WR — Edna Karr

The quick, detailed slot receiver has been a headache for opposing defensive backs to try to cover throughout his high school career. And, following a transfer this offseason, he has carved out a role in a deep Edna Karr receiving corps as a big-play threat from anywhere on the field, including in the return game.
