As league races tighten and playoff positioning begins to take shape, several players stepped up in major ways for their teams, putting up big numbers, breaking records, and delivering clutch moments under the lights. <p class="text-gray-700">Top-ranked Summit continued to dominate 5A competition with a 49-7 win over Bend, led by junior quarterback Guthrie. Guthrie was sharp all night, throwing for 265 yards and three touchdowns while keeping the offense in rhythm from start to finish. His confidence and poise under center have made Summit's passing game one of the most efficient in the state. With Guthrie at the helm, the Storm continues to look like the clear favorite in the Intermountain Conference.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Perkins was everywhere for Central in a 42-13 win over Corvallis, showcasing his versatility and playmaking ability on both sides of the ball. The junior caught seven passes for 107 yards and a touchdown, added three carries for 42 yards, and chipped in 51 return yards on special teams. Defensively, he tallied two solo tackles and helped limit Corvallis' passing game. Perkins' all-around performance was instrumental in Central's balanced victory.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Sophomore standout Davenport put on a show in Thurston's 44-7 win over Crater. Davenport intercepted three passes, returning one for a touchdown, while also contributing 57 receiving yards on offense. His instincts and athleticism made him a constant threat in the secondary and a reliable target when the Colts had the ball. It was the kind of performance that shows why Davenport is one of the rising stars in Oregon's 5A ranks.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Locke played with incredible poise as he led Milwaukie to a 28-25 upset win over Hood River Valley. The sophomore quarterback threw for 274 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winning strike with just over three minutes remaining. His leadership and composure under pressure helped the Mustangs pull off one of the biggest wins of Week 6.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Glos continues to show why Wilsonville's offense is one of the most explosive in the state. The junior quarterback threw for 344 yards and five touchdowns in the Wildcats' 50-7 win over Canby, carving up the defense with precision and confidence. Glos's ability to spread the ball around keeps defenses on their heels, and his consistency has been a key factor in Wilsonville's strong start. He's emerging as one of the premier signal-callers in 5A football.</p>
