Second week in Central Ohio featured some great games and exciting victories. Below I will detail the players who stood above the rest.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Week 2</strong></span>
DL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34388" first="C.J." last="Doggette"]</strong>, Pickerington Central - The senior had an interception to seal it in the 4th quarter and a big fumble recovery earlier in the game. He is one of the best players in Central Ohio and committed to Cincinnati. High motor athlete with great ball get off and punch. Very athletic player with great technique. Reads blocks well and gets up the field fast in the pass game. He has really quick hands in his pass rush and makes short work of bad technique.
RB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="182769" first="Olando" last="Kamara"]</strong>, Pickerington Central - This 2022 is lightning fast on the field. He had 110 yards on 20 carries with 2 TD’s. He is a very athletic with great wiggle. Stands 5’11 and weighs in at 200 pounds so he is hard to tackle. Good football acumen and runs a complex set of plays in the run and pass.
QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="187526" first="Brock" last="Kidwell"]</strong>, New Albany - This wing T QB got it done in the air and on the ground Friday night. Brock was 7-11 with 102 yards passing and rushed for more than 128 yards. He had 3 TD’s on the night. Very athletic with great wiggle. He throws with tight spin on the ball and is accurate. He commands his offense with precision and it is hard to decipher the plays. Brock will be a tremendous college player.
QB<strong> Liston Shroyer</strong>, Watkins Memorial - Liston had 4 TD's in the first half through the air. They were for 20, 80, 80, and 47 yards respectively. Athletic passer with great arm who throws a tight spiral. He is athletic with the ball in his hands in the open field. Very accurate passer with good progression read ability.
