Eich isn’t the first guy you think of on Providence Day’s secondary, but he was one of the more productive corners last year, with two picks and 10 pass breakups. He’s in the midst of a strong offseason, where he’s excelled in camp settings and earned a Samford offer.

Eich is another traitsy DB who didn’t get challenged much, but was good at the point of attack and in the right spot when he did. You really need to turn on the tape to get the best feel for his game, where he can operate and move in more space. He is lean, incredibly twitchy, and can run. He plays several spots in the secondary, and at each spot, he showcases the ability to match routes, turn and run, and stay attached to receivers throughout the process. Underrated player who sounds some D1 alarms as a DB.

Anytime a guy can crack the rotation on a defense as deep as Providence Day’s, it’s noteworthy. Eich can absolutely fly, and the positional versatility to play either deep safety or outside corner should excite college coaches. He has excellent ball skills and is likely a spring addition to our rankings.
