Operating in a program with a deep roster and history of producing prospects for the next level, Vanzuiden could be described as a role player for the Spartans in 2025. He rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown, and caught a pass. Vanzuiden averaged 23.5 yards on two kick returns and added a tackle. When we watch his junior highlight video, there’s potential for success in larger role next fall. The early clips feature his knack for picking up yards between the tackles. It’s a combination of getting downhill quickly, sharp cutting and more power than would be expected from the frame. Vanzuiden’s abilities would work at other positions, too.
