About Colby

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a high motor and play side line to side line every play and want to be known as someone who never takes a play off. I am able to read the offensive line keys quickly and get to the ball. I excel at making tackles in space by using my agility, balance and closing speed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am intense and driven to succeed in all that I do, especially on the football field and in the classroom.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

First Team All-Region TN 6-6A First Team All Area - Columbia Daily Herald HS Football Team Captain 2025 Straight A student with a 4.4 GPA in High School Presidents Academic Award 2023 Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition Champion 2023 Entrepreneurship Award 2023 All-State Wrestling (3rd in TN) - 2023

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I run my own landscaping business and also have a business selling eggs with my siblings. Being my own boss and manual labor have helped me to further develop my work ethic off the field along with developing my communication skills through sales engagements. I have earned the respect of my teammates as a leader by organizing off-season workouts for teammates across all grade levels.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for the best combination of strong academics at the highlest level of football competitiveness.
