About Brayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive. A very fierce competitor and great teammate. You must go 110% every play and the next play is the most important play of the game. Seeing what the defense is doing and communicating to my coaches what we can do to take advantage of them. I want to score every time we have the ball and feel like we should be able to do that.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Detailed and focused. I want to be the best QB and the best teammate I can be. Team first mentality by being prepared, holding myself to the highest standard possible, and always believing we can and will every game. Composure is an important attribute - teammates need to look into my eyes and see a sense of calmness and confidence - we will get the job done.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have made the highest level of Honor Roll since I started high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed communication skills, leadership skills, more confidence, and an understanding that I am part of something bigger than me - I represent my family, the program, my school, and my community. Leadership is really about holding yourself to the highest standard of accountability and also holding your teammates accountable. I continue to work on my skills as a QB - off season training

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that gives me an opportunity to use my skill set to help the team be successful. A school that will allow me grow as a leader and prepare me for the future.

He won a state title at Patuxent as a Freshman. The kid is just a winner, and he played well all day. Watson has a bright future.
