Three weeks into the season, we're beginning to see some good highlight tapes. Today, we'll take a close look at five highlight tapes sent in from Twitter!

The Senior QB for St. Clair has been making plays for a while now. It seems like every month for the past two years, Ben is putting out new tape.

Ben's 3-week tape is exactly what I expected. Showing off that big arm with some shots downfield, and some quick game. I like 0:09- Ben does a great job getting the ball out on time, hitting his receiver right out of his break. Same thing at 0:22, just different coverage. Finally, 0:44 showcases Ben's wheels. Great job keeping it on the option, then navigating the defense, and exploiting the inferior athletes. I'm excited to see what this big-armed QB is able to do for the rest of his senior season.

Everett has stepped up in a major way for this DeWitt defense. A big reason why he's performed so well thus far is because of his getoff. Three games, and three offensive tackles who can't match Everett's speed. Everett's second highlight showcases him bending around the edge, just past the slower offensive tackle. Similarly, at 0:26, Everett stunts inside and leaves the OT with zero chance. Even further, 1:03 shows a great read and block shed, blowing up the counter run.

Everett is skilled enough to play anywhere on the D-Line. Usually, he's a 5-tech, but sometimes lines up as a 3-tech. I like what I see regarding Everett's versatility, burst, and bend. Great job exploding out of his stance, but Everett could still improve his reaction time.

Promising 3-week tape from the Saginaw Valley State commit.

I know exactly who Gavin is. He's a phenomenal athlete, built super well, and he wants to be great. So far, Gavin's tape is solid.

The tape kicks off with an inside run stop. Basic A-gap read, and a great job filling the hole. At 0:31, Gavin does an excellent job reading the pitch, running past the WR block, and making the tackle. Pretty good angle, but I would love to see Gavin explode and tackle with more force. Finally, we'll watch 1:01 as Gavin earns a strip sack. Great job running down the QB.

Like I said, I know exactly who Gavin is as a player. Super talented. Super well-built. Should continue to develop this season and in college.

We got to keep a closer eye on Sam.

Carlson as a whole has outperformed expectations this season, and much of that is thanks to role players like Sam.

Sam's tape kicks off with a solid pass set. Good job forcing the DE to the ground, but there are several fundamental issues that he'll need to work on this offseason. Against most teams, Sam is big enough and strong enough to win his pass blocks, as long as he's putting in the effort (which is not a concern).

We get to see what Sam can do in the run game, starting at 0:19. Pulling on the reverse, Sam does a good job finding someone to block. Honestly, that defender had zero chance at a play, but Sam still goes the extra mile and pancakes him. Similarly, at 0:27, Sam does a great job locking on and driving his defender backward. I like what I see in terms of run blocking!

If Sam's listed height and weight are accurate (6'5" 280), he has a phenomenal opportunity to be a great prospect this Spring.

Grayson has made a handful of good plays this season. Below are his week 3 highlights.

First, we see Grayson break an 85-yard TD run. The space was there, and Grayson had the speed to take it the distance. Especially great job making the final defender miss.
Second, a great interception. Not much else to say- seems like Grayson recognized the hitch, got in front of the route, and took advantage of the very late throw. Third,, we've got Grayson's best play. At 0:22, Grayson breaks a defender's ankles before turning on the jets. Love to see that open-field elusiveness.

I honestly did not expect Grayson's tape to be of such high quality. It's obvious that he's a better, faster athlete than most on Hudson's schedule.
