Defensive Recruits Showing Promise: Indiana 2028

He sees the field well and is a good athlete. He's strong and can fight in the trenches, but he thrives in open spaces. He's 2nd in the class with 48 total tackles and 6 TFLs. I like the way he plays, and his motor keeps him in every single play. He's got fantastic range and can go sideline to sideline with ease. He's good in the running game as well and comes up and closes lanes. He's good in coverage and has had a ton of success in zone this year. His 34 tackles, 2 TFLs, and 2 PBU's are a good start to his year. He's got solid technique and doesn't use his heels. I like his ability to cover and run. He's not afraid to be alone and go 1 on 1. He can also create pressure and get home when he rushes. He's not afraid to come up the field and try leveling the ball carrier. There are times he over commits, but his athletiscm keeps him in the play. He was decent last year, but has already surpassed his numbers from then and looks the part this year. He's strong, has a good core, and is a good athlete in space. He's not one to drop back into coverage a ton, but he's capable. He doesn't make many mistakes and keeps his lanes locked.
