Aggressive downhill linebacker that attacks the hole, does a good job sifting through traffic to get to the ball, takes good angles and is a sure tackler, shows good acceleration (4.7 40) to the ball.

Owens is a versatile player for Plant High, he plays on both sides of the ball and doubles as a tight end. He has good size and length for the linebacker position, instinctive player that is very active and shows the ability to scrape get off blocks (270lb bench) and get to the ball-carrier. Shows speed (4.8 40) to play sideline-to-sideline. Could play either position at the next level. Currently has an offer from University of Rochester.
