1. Kevin Coleman Kevin Coleman 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR St. Mary's | 2022 State MO , St. Mary’s
The No. 1 wide receiver is also the No. 1 prospect in Missouri’s Class of 2022. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder is a dynamic playmaker as evidenced by his 12 touchdowns (eight receiving, two rushing, two on returns) in just four games during his junior season. Coleman has attracted scholarship offers from coast to coast — two of his recent visits were to Florida State and Oregon — and his recruitment will be one of the biggest stories to watch in Missouri high school football over the next several months.
2. Ja’Marion Wayne Ja’Marion Wayne 6'3" | 185 lbs | WR Parkway West | 2022 State MO , Parkway West (Missouri)
The No. 8 overall player in the 2022 rankings, Wayne ended his recruitment early when he made a verbal commitment to the University of Missouri back in December. Wayne has been a difference maker for the Longhorns since he arrived on campus. In 27 career games, Wayne has racked up 2,748 total yards (1,425 receiving, 1,323 rushing) and 37 touchdowns. The 6-3, 190-pounder has played a variety of positions for Parkway West, including running back, and could project at a number of positions, including on defense, in college with the Tigers.
3. Jason Essex Jason Essex 6'2" | 210 lbs | WR Winnetonka | 2022 State MO , Winnetonka (Iowa State)
A 6-3, 200-pounder, Essex recorded 51 catches for 811 yards and scored 12 touchdowns a year ago as a junior and blew up on the recruiting trail, attracting scholarship offers from several Power 5 schools before committing to Iowa State on July 12. Essex, who was also an all-conference basketball player during his junior year, is rated as the No. 10 overall prospect in the Class of 2022.
4. Mudia Reuben Mudia Reuben 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Park Hill South | 2022 State MO , Park Hill South
Reuben, a 6-3, 195-pounder, did not even play football before his junior year at Park Hill South but quickly established himself as a potential Division I prospect when he racked up 522 receiving yards and scored nine touchdowns. He has received 16 scholarship offers, from a variety of schools, and recently released his top five schools list: Vanderbilt, Kansas State, Arkansas State, Kansas and Stanford. Reuben moved up to the No. 12 spot in the Class of 2022 with the recent rankings update.
5. Quinton Conley Quinton Conley 6'4" | 220 lbs | WR Pembroke Hill | 2022 State MO , Pembroke Hill
Conley, the No. 13 prospect in the Class of 2022 in Missouri, is an intriguing prospect who could end up at wide receiver or tight end at the Division I level a year from now but will play quarterback for Pembroke Hill this fall. Listed at 6-4 and 220 pounds (on his Twitter profile), Conley has been reported to be 6-6 and 230 pounds, which would make him more ideally suited for tight end. Conley has reported received scholarship offers from Kansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, Iowa State and Arizona State.
