Recruiting Report: Harrison Regier/Lakeville North (2021)

<strong>LAKEVILLE--</strong> We check into Panthers Country for your Wednesday morning recruiting report. We love offensive linemen at Northstar Football News, so that's why you've seen my last three reports on the "hog mollies" that make the offense go. We caught up with <strong>Harrison Regier </strong>a 2021 NFN prospect, who's 6'6 frame is going to be an asset to any offensive line in America. We asked Reigier about himself, his recruiting interest, and much more. <strong>Get to Know Harrison Regier</strong> 6'6, 265 pounds, Regier already has a great offensive tackle frame going into his senior season at Lakeville North. Regier also told NFN that his wingspan is 80 inches which gives him good width when reaching for other defensive linemen he's blocking. During the offseason, Regier's focus is strength and conditioning as he works extremely hard on that to add to his build for next season. His biggest strengths he had last season were his length and size on the line, as he towers over most defensive linemen he goes up against. <strong>Favorite Part About Tackle</strong> Regier is to be considered a "lifer" at as offensive tackle and has played it since he was a kid. "I loved it then, and I still love it now," he told Northstar Football News. Regier said the favorite is the physicality and it's never boring for him on the field. <strong>College Interest</strong> You can imagine with his size that Regier has a boatload of options at Division I and Division II level, especially here in the Midwest. "I do hope to play in college. That's the dream, to find a great school that fits me to further my education and play the sport I love," Harrison said about his lifelong dream at playing college football. Regier has gotten interest from South Dakota State, South Dakota, North Dakota, North Dakota State, MSU-Mankato, and Minnesota-Duluth thus far as I'm sure he will accumulate more programs seeking interest in his talents in the coming months. <strong>Work Ons This Offseason</strong> Regier has hammered down three things he's dedicated his offseason workouts on this season. His footwork for pass protection, agility, and his size. If you think Regier is big now, he may get even bigger as he's only a 16-year old that is still growing. I wish I had that growth at that age! <strong>Harrison's Mentor</strong> Regier's mentor is very close to him and has taught him tons during his time at Lakeville North. His biggest mentor is Panthers offensive line coach <strong>Jason Albrecht </strong>as Harrison told us at NFN that "my game has improved so much because of him." <strong>Learning from Last Season</strong> It may have taken through the end of his junior season, but Regier got a handle on how to use his size towards the end of the Panthers season and in that small sample of games, he used it to his advantage and it improved his game at an even faster level. Regier, like our last offensive linemen, <strong>Delano Fields </strong>has the "best player for my team" mentality nailed down to a T. Harrison hopes to continue to grow, and get even stronger with what's left of this offseason.
