About Cameron

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Cameron Chaney is a 6,3 170lb c/o 28’ ATH who is an aggressive football player that can come downhill fast and make tackles when needed, but as well as make big plays on the ball. Cameron is very coachable and willing to learn, fixing every problem when needed. He excels in between the white lines and is a game changer along with a positive impact on any team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

—->>>“ A mentally strong, tough player willing to fix problems when needed, and lift up his teammates when needed in games where he is needed most he steps up first to uplift the energy of the game and try and come out with a win regardless of him being an underclassmen, he will be the first to step up and take on any challenge if it’s to win a football game.” - Joshua Williams on Cameron chaney.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

A mindset like no other 15 year-old kid works till his wheels fall off always trying to be the best, confident in what he does, but sure to uplift others around him to get to the level he tries to be on every day. Cam believes that it’s him or the person in front of him and he wants to be that person to win. His effort attitude is nothing like you’ll see in any other 15 year-old kid.” -Zach smith

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking to excel in between the lines of a division one program I believe that I am up to compete at that level and is the only level I plan on competing at. I’m looking for a college who likes me as a person and not as just a player when we’re getting recruited. Wherever feels like home is where I will play.

Cameron operates as a DB/WR during the season, but he’ll be moving with the DBs on Saturday. He has excellent size and length, and combines that with great coverage instincts. I haven’t seen him in person yet, but I want his film to match his performance on Saturday. He’s a fun watch, and will be a front runner for the DB MVP.

Chaney plus both sides of the ball for the Generals. Where I really think he really shines is on the defensive side where he plays cornerback. Cameron’s length and ball skills pop off the screen. For a taller defensive back, Chaney is really fluid and mirrors smaller receivers well. While I think he’s a fine corner, where I really like and project him to is the free safety position. I think he came be a rangy playmaker in the run and pass games. I could also see him grow into a hybrid linebacker depending on how he continues to develop.
