Film Friday: Rapid Rising 2028 ATH's

Lee is one of the top athletes across the central valley and is a big and physical running back that burst onto the scene last fall during his first season at the high school level. He is a violent runner that looks for contact in the hole, does a nice job getting behind his pads and gets vertical quickly while running through arm/ankle tackles and showing contact balance. Lee flashes the ability to stay patient behind his blocks and can either one cut and burst or break it to the outside and gain the edge if needed. Overall, he is a very smooth ball carrier with twitch for his size and has natural hands out of the backfield. Arizona and Fresno State have already offered and he is a no-brainer P4 caliber kid that should be a 8+ offer guy by this time next year.     Koo has turned heads at multiple stops and camps this off-season and through this summer, and he is a twitched up athlete with good downfield speed and sure hands. He is a very smooth and patient route runner that has a good burst off the ball, body control in traffic and shows he can create seperation downfield and tracks well over the top. A very balanced player with some good upside and growth potential down the line, Koo should have a breakout season this Fall and start to see some college offers come in over the next off-season.     Edwards checks into our rankings as a top 10 player at the ATH position, and had plenty of Varsity playing experience last Fall for Clovis. He is a very twitchy and explosive playmaker that is technically sound from his corner position with elite ball skills, plays physical at the LOS and breaks quickly to ball carriers. Offensively, he can create seperation downfield, has strong hands when making contested catches and has tremendous body control and adjustment abilities as well. Overall, one of the top two-way players across the central valley and in the 2028 class, Edwards is a key name to keep an eye on this Fall for Clovis. He currently holds an early Sacramento State offer.     The Oceanside product is one of the more twitchy and explosive playmakers in the class across the state, and should have another big time second season campaign this Fall. He can stretch the field, runs very precise routes to get into defenders blind spots before breaking off and shows excellent foot speed and quickness in transition while able to pluck the ball out of the air consistently. He can track well over the top, shows he can get off man coverage near the LOS and is very dangerous with the ball in his hands after the catch. His ability to make big plays downfield and take shorter receptions into longer gains makes him extremely dangerous from the slot and is someone who can take it the distance at anytime.     Grier enters into our WL rankings in the most recent update and is one of the top '28 two-way guys across the state heading into his Sophomore campaign. He is a twitchy and smooth athlete that has elite downfield speed to create seperation and has outstanding hands in traffic with tracking abilities over the top and can make 50/50 ball plays with ease. He should breakout in his sophomore campaign and currently holds offers from UNLV and Washington already. Look for Grier to burst onto the scene this Fall on either side of the ball and be a key name to keep an eye on across the '28 class in the Trinity League.
