Epps led the county as the only receiver with over 1,000 yards a year ago, setting the Franklinton school record in the process. His strength, even at his size, is impressive and he’s rarely bumped off routes. If defenders get lazy with their tackling technique, he’ll make them look silly. I’m interested to see how he performs with a new quarterback. Given his reliability, he may actually see his usage tick up.

Franklinton’s offense struggled to consistently move the ball last season, but Epps took some momentum into the offseason with 158 yards and two touchdowns in the final two games of the year. The Rams lose their leading receiver from 2024, so Epps could step up as the safety blanket and chain-mover.
