As a junior, Caudill lined up at safety where he was very reliable in coverage. He does a great job of reading route combinations and reacting accordingly to put himself in position to make a play. Once the ball is in the air, he breaks with perfect timing and has shown the ability to cover a lot of ground quickly to get to make a play on the ball. Caudill finished this past season with six interceptions (tied for 2A lead) in 14 games, returning two of them for touchdowns. He also showed the ability to fill the lane in a hurry to provide run support, recording 90 tackles and one tackle for loss as a junior. Caudill also made an impact on offense, running the ball 15 times for 171 yards and three touchdowns while also catching two passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. Eli is a player who I expect college coaches to have on their radar this offseason.

He does a great job of reading routes and the quarterback then using his speed to cover a ton of ground in a hurry to get to the ball when it is in the air. Caudill has impressive ball skills, coming away with a team-high four interceptions in six games so far this season. He has also shown the ability to fill the lane to provide run support, recording 48 tackles this season. Eli has also made an impact on offense this season, scoring two rushing touchdowns and catching one touchdown pass. Caudill should be a player to keep a close eye on over the next two seasons.

On offense, Caudill lines up at receiver where he does a great job of using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. He is very dangerous after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes into big gains. Eli finished his sophomore year with 13 receptions for 245 yards and four touchdowns in 14 games. On defense, Caudill lines up at safety where he does a great job of filling the lane to provide run support, finishing this past season with 85 tackles. Eli will be a player to keep an eye on as his role on both sides of the ball continues to grow over the next two seasons.

Standing at 5 foot 7 inch and weighing 130 Pound, Caudill is the a tad undersized. While size might be a limitation, it just makes him difficult to tackle. He is the perfect receiver to throw burn screens to and allow him to make defenders to miss. I see his role to continue to grow in 2025.
