Sullivan made 105 total tackles (63 solo, 10 tackles for a loss) and sacked the quarterback 4.5 times. He and Hayes are just alike, except Sullivan is taller and more wiry. He takes long strides and it enables him to clsoe on ball carrier quickly. Also a disruptor in the backfield. Reads his keys and goes full speed to make the tackle. Not a thumper but he’s a sure tackler and has excellent lateral movement. Shows gret timing when it comes to shootign the gap and making a play behind the line of scrimmage. The production is obvious. Would love to see more explosive plays from him on film this season.
Jaxon was easily a top performer at the National Preps Showcase and would have got my vote for LB MVP on the day. Measuring in at 6’3″ 214lbs he has ideal size and build for the next level. He showcase fluid hips and is smooth in his movement/transitions while also playing fast. In 1v1s he was excellent in coverage. Staying patient, able to turn & run and stay in the hip pocket of the RB/TEs. Jaxon showed good change of direction, staying balanced with active feet to go make plays on the pass. Overall Jaxon is a physical, fluid LB who can make impact plays in the run and pass game.
Sullivan has 83 tackles (48 solo) and 4.5 sacks to his credit so far this season. He made 12 total tackles (six solo) in his team’s win last weekend. Sullivan is rangy, agile, and can close ground on the ball carrier in a hurry. He could turn into more of a beast this offseason if he’s able to fill out a little more on his already impressive 6-3, 205-pound frame.
