About Ethan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive. I am explosive and slippery, especially for my size.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like having goals that I can work for and feel pride when I achieve them. I like to win and feel it’s important it to do it the right way.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have played almost all youth sports, including gymnastics when I was young. I learned a lot from my many years of baseball and wrestling gave me a lot of flexibility. I won third at state in wrestling when I was in the 8th grade and have gotten a lot of academic awards.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve always been the biggest kid which meant people always look up to me and take my lead. That helped me develop leadership as a kid and my mom helps me remember to lead in the right way. I try to set an example that people would be proud to follow.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Stress fractures my freshman year caused me to miss most of the season. It was hard to not be able to play but I supported my team in every other way I could. Working my way back from that gave me a lot of pride in myself because I was able to come back stronger than ever at the end of the season and help my team get a couple of wins.

What type of college are you looking for?

Looking for a team that I can contribute to both on and off field and that can help me continue to develop.

6’3” 290 lbs. Taylor possesses the frame and natural strength to anchor the interior DL. He’s a disruptive presence that clogs rushing lanes, absorbs double teams, and creates opportunities for second level defenders to make plays. Tough to move, he holds his ground against downhill run schemes and doesn’t get displaced. He shows good stack and shed ability locking out blockers, reading the play, and disengaging from contact to pursue the ball carrier. As a pass rusher, he’s able to get vertical push to collapse the pocket from the interior forcing QB’s to escape laterally. Strong tackler, his combination of length and strength make him tough to break once he gets his hands on the ball carrier. One to watch in 2026 with a good foundational skillset to build on.
