on the edge. I got to see Neil recently at the National Preps Spring Showcase where he put on a show in testing – running a 4.6 40 with a 9’5″ SBJ and a verified 6’1″ 190lbs+.
Neil is an athletic LB able to play inside or outside and shows real well in coverage. He has a nice long frame that will fill out well – easily could be a 220lbs guy once he gets in a college weight room. Neil shows of fluid hips, able to drop and flip & go to the ball. Able to eat up a lot of space, Neil makes plays all over the field. A player who has lots of potential still, I think Neil can be a steal for a D3 school after this fall season.
