Jalen Dantzler Jalen Dantzler 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Central | 2027 State KY is a tough defensive back who recorded 56 tackles, 6 PBUs, and two forced fumbles in 2025 for Central. Dantzler isn’t afraid to confront a running back head-on and is a reliable tackler in the open field. He can meet receivers at the point of contact, shed blocks, and use his speed to chase down offensive players who’ve broken free. He also doubles as a kickoff returner who can burn a kickoff team if he has room.

To wrap up my Preseason 3A All-State defense, I have Jalen Dantzler Jalen Dantzler 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Central | 2027 State KY . Dantzler lines up at corner where he is very impressive in pass coverage. He has shown the ability to effectively read routes followed by the reaction ability to break on the ball with perfect timing to make a play when it is thrown his way. Dantzler finished his sophomore year with one interception and several pass breakups in six games. He also finished last season with 15 tackles. Jalen currently holds offers from Miami (OH) and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way over the next two seasons.

Dantzler lines up on the outside at corner where he is very impressive in pass coverage. In zone coverage, he does a great job of dropping into his zone and reading route combinations. When the ball is thrown his way, he has shown the ability to break on the ball to make a play, coming away with one interception and multiple pass breakups in six games this past season. He also finished the year with 15 tackles. Dantzler currently holds offers from Miami (OH) and Eastern Kentucky, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way heading into his junior year.
