About Evan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am extremely physical. I am really good at north and south blocking. We face a lot of odd man fronts and I am the center. I am use to moving guys my size or bigger so that our QB or RB can run up the middle to the left or right. My height, footwork, and arm length allows me to hold down the middle in pass blocking.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love to compete. In sports I to do whatever I can to make sure that I do my job so we can win. I do not like to lose. If not on the field or weight room, I like to relax. I am usually the guy that makes everyone laugh, I like to have fun with my friends. I am a very happy person and I get along with everyone.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have never been the player trying to get everyone pumped up before the game. I have developed into the player that is getting the guys around me pumped up when adversity hits OR we start to get down. I have always been known as one of the hardest workers that has always gained the respect of my team mates which helps with team work.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I play 6A Missouri Football. We have 170 players on our team with a ton of O lineman. I had to quickly learn my freshman year to be a great player/team mate I had to trust the process, develop through the program, and stick with it. Each year I started Fresh ball as a freshman, started JV as a Soph, and now starting Varsity as a Junior. Waited my turn and developed.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to go to a college where I have a great relationship with the coaches. I want go to somewhere that I follow the program process and develop. I am a program type player. Very important to me is to find a school to where I can develop great friendships with my fellow offensive lineman. Those guys will be my friends for life.
