An Atlanta-area back with a big frame and natural strength, Barner is one of the top young backs in Atlanta who is coming of a promising first season where he ran for 337 yards and three scores. He’s a physical back with impressive burst with the potential to have a really strong sophomore season this fall. The 6-foot-0 200-pounder already has a handful of Power Four offers and more are likely coming his way. He made a jump in the latest rankings and is now the No. 5 RB prospect and the No. 40 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2028 class.
