2027 Fayette Ware (TN) WR Layquan Armour put together a solid day at Faulkner and backed it up with some encouraging traits I saw on his junior film. He has a good catch radius, extending for the football and securing passes outside his frame. Armour has the build to line up both inside and outside, giving him some positional versatility at the next level. What stood out most on film is his after the catch ability. Armour showed good burst when the ball got in his hands, creating separation and turning short completions into chunk plays. He is very effective in the screen game, where his change of direction and ability to make defenders miss and break tackles help generate extra yards.
