Size was the first thing that jumped out to me when watching 2027 McAdory WR Corey Harris Jr work. Harris Jr checked in at 6'2 190, and was a physically imposing wideout for DBs. He also tested well, posting a 4.56 shuttle, 4.78 40, and nearly a 9-foot broad jump. What impressed me most was how well he moved for a receiver with his build. Harris Jr did a nice job sinking his hips, staying efficient through his routes, and changing direction without looking stiff. His catch radius gives quarterbacks plenty of room for error, and he looked capable of extending for throws outside his frame. The physical tools are easy to see, but I thought Harris Jr. paired them with a better route-running foundation than a lot of bigger receivers. By the end of the day, he looked like an offer-worthy prospect in my eyes.

2027 Fayette Ware (TN) WR Layquan Armour put together a solid day at Faulkner and backed it up with some encouraging traits I saw on his junior film. He has a good catch radius, extending for the football and securing passes outside his frame. Armour has the build to line up both inside and outside, giving him some positional versatility at the next level. What stood out most on film is his after the catch ability. Armour showed good burst when the ball got in his hands, creating separation and turning short completions into chunk plays. He is very effective in the screen game, where his change of direction and ability to make defenders miss and break tackles help generate extra yards.

2027 Slocomb TE Weston Sasser was one of the more impressive athletes among the bigger skill players at Faulkner. Sasser posted the best broad jump of the day at 9.8 feet while also recording a 4.84 40 and 7.7 L Drill at 6'2 205. Sasser moved well throughout the camp, showing the ability to get in and out of breaks smoothly and create separation that many tight ends struggle to generate. He looked comfortable tracking and catching the football, and Sasser had a natural feel to the way he worked as a receiver. He also has enough strength in his frame to handle contact if defenders become physical. Sasser's combination of size, athleticism, and receiving ability gives him a strong foundation and versatility as an athlete.

2027 Lincoln TE Kade Korrekt brings something to the table that is hard to teach that warranted an offer from the Eagles. Korrekt immediately creates matchup problems for smaller defenders at 6'6 210 simply because of his size and length. Defenders are forced to work through his frame at the catch point, and he does a nice job using his body to shield them away from the football. Korrekt is athletic enough to be a factor in the passing game, giving quarterbacks a large target who can make plays through contact and provide a alrger catch radius. Korrekt is likely an effective blocker on Friday nights given his size and physical tools as well.

2027 Lawton Chiles (FL) TE Brodie O'Neal is the type of player whose strengths are probably showcased better on Friday nights than in a camp setting. He has a 6'3 240 frame and brings a bigger, more physical style to the position than many of the other tight ends in attendance. He may not have tested or moved quite as fluidly as some of the other tight ends in the group, but there is still value in what he brings to the table. O'Neal showed he can be an effective pass catcher, and his frame suggests he has the tools to be a productive blocker as well. Physicality is a major part of his game, which can be difficult to fully evaluate in shorts and a T-shirt. Faulkner ultimately felt good enough about his full package to extend an offer, and that decision likely reflected not only what they saw in person but also from his junior film.

2027 Dadeville WR Cale Hanks put together one of the better all-around testing performances among the receivers in attendance. Hanks posted a 4.71 40, 7.3 L Drill, and 9.25-foot broad jump, and those numbers showed up throughout the workout. A multi-sport athlete, Hanks moved fluidly during drills and consistently got out of his release with burst. After watching his junior film, it became clear that his game translates well beyond a camp setting. Hanks is an efficient route runner who creates good vertical separation with speed and leverage. He also tracks the football well downfield as a dangerous vertical threat from the slot. Between his testing numbers, film, and what he showed in person, Hanks looked like a good under-the-radar WR prospect to keep close tabs on this fall.

2028 Milton (FL) WR Jackson Dinkins was a younger receiver who caught my attention during the workout. Dinkins has a lanky 6'0 frame with plenty of room for additional development, and he paired that with a 4.69 40 and 4.65 shuttle. He showed the ability to threaten defenders vertically with his speed, but I appreciated that he did not rely on speed alone to win. Dinkins ran clean routes, avoided wasted movement, and did a nice job sinking his hips when working in and out of breaks. His change of direction looked natural, and he stayed under control throughout his routes. There is still a lot of football ahead of him, but Dinkins flashed enough athleticism and receiver traits to make him an intriguing player to follow over the next two years.

One of the more under-the-radar receivers I came across at Faulkner was 2027 Cold Springs WR Ethan Day. Day checked in at 5'11 175 and put together one of the better testing numbers as a whole with a 4.4 shuttle, 4.69 40, 7.5 L Drill, and 9-foot broad jump. More importantly, those numbers translated during the workout, as Day looked comfortable moving in space and competed well throughout the day. As a multi-sport athlete, he carries himself naturally and showed the type of overall athleticism that gives him a chance to continue developing at the next level. There is not much film available and I was unable to find much of a social media presence, which makes him easy to overlook right now. Still, based on what I saw in person, Day is a small-school prospect worth knowing and one that D3 programs should have on their radar.
