A must-know LB name in the 2028 class that PRZMN was juiced to see on the camp trail, Orono’s Grant Eslinger Grant Eslinger 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB/TE Orono | 2028 State MN lived up the hype. Although he was closer to 6′, Eslinger was twitched-up, explosive, and really moved and changed direction well amongst the talented LB group at the PJ Fleck RTB Prospect Camp. We’ll see what kind of hype he can generate on the recruiting trail the rest of the summer, but either way, I wouldn’t want to get in the way of this kid padded up in the fall of 2026.

Another wild-card contender in this conference next season, Grant Eslinger Grant Eslinger 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB/TE Orono | 2028 State MN didn’t see any playing time last year, but the athletic potential is immense. With a 4.9 40 yard time, 305 lb max bench, and a 425 lb max squat, his frame and strength at his position borders on D1 potential. With the LB position facing some roster turnover from last year, Eslinger has an opportunity to start seeing reps on the varsity lineup, which will give us an opportunity to see how that athleticism translates onto the field, especially given for a defense that was one of the strongest in Class 4A last season, that potential could be quite valuable for this unit.
