Rudy Reyes Rudy Reyes 5'7" | 160 lbs | RB/DB Ada-Borup-West | 2027 MN has been a budding name this offseason among our scouts, and he was one of my top standouts from the SJU camp back in May, and it was no surprise watching him excel once again here at Crown. Much like at SJU, Reyes excelled as a pass-catcher during the 1-on-1 drills, stretching the field as a vertical catch, showcasing great footwork, sharp plants, and being able to catch passes downfield through contact, his skillset really matches well as a multi-purpose threat who’s dangerous in the open field. With such building momentum over the course of this offseason, it’s no surprise after his performance on Saturday seeing him earn an offer from Crown, his first offer, and probably the first of several we could see over the next few weeks.

This is the second camp in the month of June where Ada-Borup-West’s Rudy Reyes Rudy Reyes 5'7" | 160 lbs | RB/DB Ada-Borup-West | 2027 MN has gotten may attention and I don’t feel that this is on accident. He ran a 4.83 40-yard dash and a back to back 4.63 in the pro agility. Similar to what I saw out of Rudy at the SMSU Prospect Camp, Rudy maintained ampled tightness during Indy drills and also in the L-drill I got to watch as like I have said this summer, this kid embraces the small details that you want to see with his elusiveness he has at his disposal. He’s undersized for the RB position, but Rudy could be a great small school fit in your RB room in the MIAC and UMAC.

A new name in the 2027 class that hit my radar at the SMSU Prospect Camp on Friday was Ada-Borup-West running back Rudy Reyes Rudy Reyes 5'7" | 160 lbs | RB/DB Ada-Borup-West | 2027 MN . He showed elusiveness with his change of direction that showed off great balance no matter which direction he was utilizing. Rudy also showed off the tightness you want to see around the corners during the Indy period. He intrigued me too with his low center of gravity with the ball in his hands, as his stability and balanced within the reps I watched showed me that although undersized, has a good shot of playing on Saturdays.

One of the brightest playmakers in the 1A conference, Rudy Reyes Rudy Reyes 5'7" | 160 lbs | RB/DB Ada-Borup-West | 2027 MN had a strong showing at Clemens’ Stadium on Sunday morning. Reyes flashed immediately in the testing portion of the drill, with his 4.79 40 yard time being one of the fastest among the position group. An impressively fast runner with sharp footwork, solid hands, and ball-tracking skills like a WR, Reyes was able to excel during the 1-on-1 sessions, and was able to reel in several deep passes going against the LBs. Reyes should not be an overlooked prospect despite playing in a smaller-school, showcasing that he holds his ground well competing alongside some impressive talent that appeared this weekend.
