Uncovered Gems: OAA White Pt.4

I love articles like these because it allows me to get a quick look at just about everyone in a specific league. In this article, in particular, we have multiple future college prospects to evaluate. Specifically, we have two players from Harper Woods, and one from Rochester, Stoney Creek, and Southfield.    I like Tylar's tape!   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Faster than most high school DBs</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Able to controt body to make difficult catches</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Can turn around and catch a ball that's already right in his face</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>A good all-around route runner- wish he showed a little more on Twitter/Hudl, though </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Decent after the catch. Could be more twitchy </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Right now a D3 prospect. Though, if his route running and athleticism is better than I think it is, he could go D2</li> </ul>      Promising tape from Dewayne Johnson. Not quite a college prospect, but I fully expect him to improve significantly this offseason.   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Solid man-to-man fundamentals. Tracks hip, patient, decent ball skills. </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Needs to get lower and overall be more fluid with backpetal </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Could force way more turnovers with slightly better reaction time and ball skills</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Shows good flashes defending against outside run</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Times where Dewayne reacts quickly avoids a block, and makes a tackle. Other times where Dewayne reacts much slower. </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Should limit arm tackles </li> </ul>      <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Physical runner</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Several instances of defenders bounding off him like a brick wall</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Instances of great contact balance</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Very limited speed- will hurt recruitment </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Unsure about change of direction</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Experience returning kicks</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Would make for an AMAZING Rugby player</li> </ul>      I've been wanting to dive into Quinn's tape for a while.   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Consistent backpetal- gets low, could be a little smoother. </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Change of direction needs to improve </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Decent ball skills, but another area that can improve </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Way above-average run defender. Reacts quickly and not afraid to hit </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Overall, increasing athleticism while being more fluid (no wasted movement) would significantly improve Quinn's game</li> </ul>      <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Regular contributor on Special Teams</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Way more physical than I expected </li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Good athletic profile</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Seems to have good ball skills, especially for being undersized</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Good foundation set during freshman season. Not a college prospect yet, but 100% could be with a couple great offseasons. </li> </ul>
