I’ve been high on Turner White Turner White 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Lipscomb Academy | 2029 TN for a while now. He was part of my 2029 series this offseason, where I said he would take the next step. Well White did that and beat out an older player for the starting quarterback job.

He has things to clean up, but the sophomore has shown a lot of good things through the first month. The QB has good arm talent, has shown the ability to push the ball downfield, nice touch, good accuracy and solid decision making skills.

White needs to polish his passing, but I do think sky is the limit. I would not be surprised to look up in two years and see him garnering interest from a plethora of Division I schools.

Another elite prospect to keep an eye on is Turner White Turner White 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Lipscomb Academy | 2029 TN , a quarterback at Lipscomb Academy. What stands out about White is his excellent size, strong arm, and efficient deep passing ability. I also really like White’s ability to execute and remain composed under pressure, proving he can throw an impressive deep ball. White is without question one of the top signal callers in the state to know about in his class.

After making the Tennessee Future Stars in 2023 as a sixth-grader, White was not listed on the prestigious roster last year. The multi-sport athlete (basketball) had his eighth-grade season ended prematurely by an injury, but he was lighting the world on the fire through the first three games of the 2024-2025 regular season. Our scouts were at the TN Future Stars tryout and raved about White’s performance, specifically the long ball. He was named a top performer at the tryout–the lone QB standout. White’s older brother, J.C. White, will be a Senior this upcoming season and has the potential for a breakout season. Both of the White brothers could be in an excellent position for big 2025-2026 regular seasons.

In the first place spot on my list is Turner White Turner White 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Lipscomb Academy | 2029 TN , a quarterback at Brentwood Middle School. White has outstanding size for an 8th grader and proved his ability to sling the rock this past weekend in Franklin. Another aspect of White’s playstyle that impresses me is his strong footwork, ability to move around the pocket with ease and his ability to quickly scan the backfield for an open target.

I was additionally impressed with Turner White Turner White 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Lipscomb Academy | 2029 TN , a quarterback at Brentwood Middle School. White initially caught my attention with his excellent size as well as his solid footwork during early drills.
