It's Friday and as we close out the work week, we're looking at some 2027 quarterbacks to keep an eye on this offseason. These prospects were all quite productive as sophomores and should be even better this coming fall. Look for them to hit the weights hard and get bigger, faster, and stronger this offseason. I think these guys have some projectable traits that fair well for the next level so make sure you keep an eye on them!

Dangelo Ingram, 6" 185, Killeen

A feathery deep ball thrower with plenty of arm talent and the ability to buy himself time when the pocket collapses. Ingram does a good job transitioning his weight from his back foot to his front foot to get maximum power behind his throws. He's willing to stand tall in the pocket & take a shot from an unblocked defender, he can throw his receivers open and is extremely confident when forced to throw off-platform.

[player_tooltip player_id='1894449' first='Cason' last='Garcia'], 6'2" 175, Creekview

I think Garcia does his best work outside the pocket forcing defenders in zone coverage to lock onto their man. He's in rhythm & throws with anticipation, he knows how to manipulate the pocket and shows consistent ball placement. He's extremely slippery behind the line, he's tough, throws fieldside routes with authority, and has the athletic ability to tuck it & run if nothing presents itself downfield.

Tyler Heath, 6'1" 170, Paris

A dynamic runner on the ground with burst, acceleration, and impressive top-end speed for a quarterback. He dodges sacks like a matador, he can place the football right over defenders in zone and hits throws of twenty yards plus right in stride. He can get the bull out in a hurry with pressure coming and is terrific throwing off-platform. He's a fun watch on tape and will make you pay if he's not brought down by the first tackle attempt.

[player_tooltip player_id='946510' first='Carter' last='Lattelle'], 6'1" 170, Klein

Carter steps up in the pocket and drops dimes of forty yards plus. He has enough athletic ability to evade free rushers, he knows when to take something off throws, and has complete command of the offense. He consistently places the football away from defenders, he can add immediate zip for tight-window throws, and has a quiet onfield confidence about him.
