Cason quietly put together one of the most efficient passing seasons in the state, throwing for 2,698 yards while completing 66% of his passes with 30 touchdowns compared to just seven interceptions. He plays with outstanding confidence and rarely forces the football, consistently making smart decisions that keep his offense on schedule. His accuracy allows receivers to catch the ball in stride, and he does a great job spreading the football to multiple targets throughout the game.
On film, Cason shows great command of the offense and understands how to attack different coverages. He is patient in the pocket, keeps his eyes downfield, and delivers the ball with timing and touch. He doesn’t need to rely on one big play after another because he consistently moves the chains and takes what the defense gives him. When defenses try to pressure him, he remains composed, resets his feet, and continues to make accurate throws.
The numbers speak for themselves, but it’s the consistency that stands out the most. Cason gives his team a chance to win every Friday night with his decision making, ball placement, and ability to lead the offense. Cason currently have no offers , but i expect him to be a late bloomer.
Cason is a tough quarterback who never flinches under pressure. He has the confidence to stand tall in the pocket, knowing a hit is coming, and still delivers an accurate football. Rather than bailing out early, he keeps his eyes downfield, works through his progressions, and trusts his protection. His willingness to absorb contact while completing passes speaks to both his toughness and composure. When a play breaks down, he stays poised, extends plays when needed, and gives his receivers every chance to make something happen.
Cason is a poised passer who processes the game at a high level. He shows patience working through progressions and rarely rushes his decisions. His ball placement allows receivers to stay in stride, and he demonstrates a strong understanding of spacing versus zone coverage. Cason does a good job managing the offense, communicating pre-snap, and adjusting to defensive looks. His consistency and reliability make him a dependable option under center.
One of the premier gunslingers from the Metroplex so far this season, Garcia continued to dominate in Week 3, completing 72% of his passes for 390 yards and 3 TDs. Cason also displayed his athleticism, leading his squad with 62 yards rushing. The Mustangs’ QB1 has sparked a fire in the offense with his ability to deliver passes from an array of arm angles and extend plays with his legs. With 10 touchdowns and over 770 yards already this season, expect Garcia to reel in plenty of new college interest.
