About Timothy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a physical and versatile player with a dependable presence on the offensive line. I play with effort every snap and focus on doing my job to help the offense succeed and the team win games.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong work ethic. I always give my best effort and I’m someone who values respect and humility. Off the field, I’m low-key, and spend my free time at the gym or hanging out with my family. Whether on the field, in the classroom, or at home, I try to be someone that people can rely on.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I volunteer as a coach for the Little Mavs, which is my little brother's youth football league. Coaching has taught me the value of leadership and being a positive role model.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership and teamwork skills and understand the importance of discipline, respect, and giving back. As a player, I’ve learned how to communicate effectively with teammates, take responsibility for my role, learn from my mistakes, and support others on the field. As a Coach, I've learned how success comes from trust, preparation, and everyone buying into the same goal.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been learning to manage my time. Playing both JV and Varsity football my 10th grade year and coaching kids required balancing school, daily practices, travel, and my coaching responsibilities. This experience taught me discipline, organization, and how to stay committed to my teams, and others, even when my schedule was demanding.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a school that I can fit into; one I can spend all my college playing years with. Finding a school where I can develop as a player, and a person, while also getting my education paid for, would be ideal.
