Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A powerful small-town lineman with impressive mobility in the run game, Howell is a big 6-foot-5 285-pounder who loves to pull and bury linebackers at the second level. He shows strong lower-body strength, plays with balanced feet, and runs really well for his size. He’s one of the more underrated offensive linemen in the state for the 2026 class and recently earned a new offer from UT-Martin. He’s currently ranked as the No. 41 OL prospect in the state

A small-town offensive tackle on the rise who recently earned his first D1 offer from Florida Atlantic, Howell is a mean, physical tackle with plenty of size at 6-foot-5 285-pounds. He swallows up defenders with ease and is tough to beat for opposing defenders in the area. He brings strong hands, a mean streak, and was one of the best players on the field on a weekly basis last fall. The West Laurens lineman delivered pancakes on a consistent basis and does a good job on the move, finding linebackers to level at the second level. His best football is way ahead of him and more offers could come his way sooner than later.
