Parsons is the prototypical size for QB at 6’5 202 pounds. One thing that really stood out to me about this event was how Parsons took the coaching and implemented it into his game during the drills. He has a very quick release, and a high arch on his throws allowing the WR to come underneath and catch it. Parsons throws a beautiful spiral as well. He shined during the 7 v 7 drills. He showed good anticipation and timing with his throws. He wasn’t forcing the ball where the defender was. He has very good arm strength, and made all the throws needed at the combine. Keep an eye out for Parsons this season.

Parsons showed off a strong arm with the ability to zip passes into tight windows. Even when missing on a throw, he quickly bounced back with impressive poise. His quick release and ability to hit receivers out of their breaks made him a standout in both one on ones and 7 on 7 action. Parsons was firmly in the running for MVP honors as one of the top 3 and is a name that should be at the top of watchlists moving forward.

Both Douglas County QB’s had some issues with turnovers this season but Parsons was able to be electric when he was in the game. He has a nice arm and excels at intermediate passes, being able to fit the ball into tight windows and put nice touch on his passes. He does have the ability to escape the pocket and keep the chains moving at times as well. Parsons does show good anticipation, hitting his receivers right out of their breaks and with his arm strength he can push the ball down the field vertically. I look for him to have a bounce back year and should be a must know player as he won’t be under the radar for long.
