Schembri measures in at 5’10 205-pounds. Last season, he had 42 receptions for 675 yards with 7 touchdowns, and 20 carries for 133 yards with 2 touchdowns. He has very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, speed, balance, good acceleration and jumping. Good release against both off coverage and the press jam. Very good separation quickness. He’ll outrun defenders at the top of his route, outmuscle defenders through the route, or find voids to exploit. He’s a smart player and will come back to his QB during the scramble drill for the easy completion. Good ball tracking with very good catching and ball adjustment. Good body control. Schembri plucks the ball out of the air and holds onto it while getting hit. When the ball is his hands, he’ll shed tackles and create space with his juke moves. Great player who can contribute at the next level.
