Expert Analysis
Matt Tate | Prep Redzone Scout
Reish is a standout guard/center for Canon City last season. The 6’4 265-pound lineman didn’t allow a sack ALL season, and had 73 pancake blocks. He has very good strength. Good initial quickness out of his stance, and demonstrates elite hand placement and hand strength to control and steer the DL. Reish has very good body control, good knee bend and flexibility. Very good hand speed. In the run game, Reish uses his explosive legs to drive the DT and DEs back into the 2nd level. Good reaction time from 1st to 2nd level blocks. Reish has good athletic ability to block out in space or on the perimeter. I was very impressed with his film, and colleges need to take an extra look his way.

Reish measures in at 6’4 265-pounds and was a lockout C/G for Canon City all year. He had 73 pancake blocks, not allowing a single sack. Reish has very good technique, and it has impressed me. Very good strength. Starts with a low pad level and uses his elite hand placement and hand strength to lock out defenders. He controls and steers them with ease, consistently overpowering the opposition. Powerful legs to drive forward. He has good speed and acceleration out in space to get in front of the RB. Reish’s very good mental processing was on full display. He’d let go of the defender before it would be considered a hold. Another aspect of his game is how he has very good competitive toughness. Reish plays through the whistle and adds an extra fire to the OL. He’s an impressive interior lineman, who will defiantly be getting some offers.

Reish is an interior lineman that is able to dominate in the running game, being able to drive his defender back and drive him into the ground. He is constantly seen in film blocking up field and playing through the whistle. I like his aggressiveness and tenacity to just attack his opponent until the play is over. He is a good combo blocker and is a player that doesn’t give up ground, constantly keeping his feet moving and creating running lanes. He will be a player to know next season and see if he is able to keep this momentum and pop on to some radars.
