Jimenez, admittedly, probably should have entered the rankings in an earlier update, but we now (finally) have the 1,000-yard rusher squarely inside the rankings. He’s a no-nonsense runner, a guy who gets downhill and picks up yardage without dancing or being passive. He has a good initial burst and the long speed to break away when he gets to the second and third levels.

I whiffed on Jimenez in our last update, and have already set it in motion to add the rising senior to the rankings after he ran for nearly 1,200 yards as a junior. Jimenez has excellent quickness and can change direction in the open field, leading to a bunch of big runs.

In a limited role for White Oak last year, Montez flashed some impressive ability, which put him on our Watch List to see how he produces with more opportunity. I like how Montez can explode into open space with the ball in his hands – his burst is something special, the first thought I have when he has the ball. Obviously, Montez has some good speed in the open field, and he shows some ability to run through weak tackle attempts at the second level.
