2025 Signing Day: GVSU Loads up on Offense

If I were to cover all 42 players, this may be my longest article ever. There are a few signees who I think have a great chance at being homeruns (Ethan Plumb, [player_tooltip player_id='899644' first='Carson' last='Hein'], E'Mere Atkins), and several other players who are pretty raw, but have incredible potential. I've noticed that GV tends to recruit much more based on athletic traits and upside rather than high school production. For example, I think there were many TEs in this class who were better high school players, but GV (seems) to have recruited that position largely based on upside. All colleges do this to some extent, but Grand Valley seems to do this more than most. I also find it interesting that GV focuses their recruiting on Michigan and our bordering states, while Ferris (at least this year) only recruited Michigan and Florida. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
