Expert Analysis

White is coming off good back-to-back seasons, during which he’s been productive from the first snap. He’s a decent athlete with good vision in the backend. He’s got a baseball background, which I think shows all over his tape. He’s got good balance and fairly decent footwork for a younger DB. He returned punts in year 2, and even housed 1 from 45 yards out. Through 2 Varsity seasons, White has put up 114 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, 8 interceptions, and 11 PBUs.

White had an excellent year from start to finish starting in all 11 games for Plainfield. He’s a good athlete who has no issue covering either side of the field. He’s got just about unlimited range and can come downhill to play the run. 58 tackles as a freshman with 2 TFLs, and he led the class with 5 interceptions on the year. He knows how to time it and play the ball well, something that should only improve as he gets more reps.

White had an overall impressive freshman year and not only has the confidence to be out there but helps elevate others around him. He’s a ball of energy and the guys around him see that. He’s got fantastic range, can track the ball easily, and makes good-looking picks. His freshman year showed a ton of promise and I can’t wait to see year 2.
