Claremont tight end Maxwell Leeper Maxwell Leeper Maxwell Leeper 6'7" | 210 lbs | TE/WR Claremont | 2026 State CA announced his commitment to New Mexico on Monday.

Leeper played at Rancho Cucamonga last season and had a strong showing at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January. I saw him catching passes at the Elite 11 Finals recently and he’s packed on some muscle this offseason.

He also had offers from Cal Poly, Montana, UNLV and San Diego State among others. Leeper is the second player from California in New Mexico’s 2026 recruiting class.
