SOUTH DAKOTA-- We move back to the Mount Rushmore State to unlock the key with another sleeper edition of 2026 prospects that landed outside our top 100, but intrigue us on tape. I have a good feeling that a good bulk of this list you will see playing on Saturdays.

Brayden is a 2026 athlete that has been on my 2026 board since we launched the watchlist, and seeing the development grow from then to now is intriguing. The 6'2 185 pounder from Central, shows off a quicker release off the snap and you can quickly see the fluidity this young man brings to the table as a route-runner. He also in my eyes has gotten more agility with his change of direction and this especially shows when the Cobblers utilze his athleticsm on jet sweeps. The track times in the 100-meter should intrigue college coaches as with that frame last May Brayden ran a 11.02. Get this young man a highlight tape as a surely believe he has a great shot to play on Saturdays. Brayden is one that I'll admit will likely raise his stock by next update.

[player_tooltip player_id='848977' first='Oakley' last='Anderson'], LB, Huron Twitter

Oakley is a 2026 linebacker that to me took his game up a notch in the 2024 season. For his size, he shows off more wirey athletic movement than you might expect to see as a middle linebacker that the presence outweighs his measurables.I could tell the upside has grown from 2023 to 2024 instinctively for Oakley as he has a more steady knack for picking up the screen/short route quicker. No doubt when this young man makes contact that his finesse gets shown every time. He also possesses one of the bigger motors you will see in this stockrisers report today.

I was quite intrigued by the first look of Adam's tape with how quick his release was off the snap, as a two-way prospect from the Canistota Hawks that moved up our 2026 rankings due to his balance on both sides of the ball. An All-Stater in the 2024 season, his offensive line tape shows off a great drive blocker that gets penetration into the second level on a consistent basis as I was also impressed with his pad-level despite his tape being on the lighter side. The 6'4 280 pounder is one that will growing his technique with his footwork in pass-pro could be another one in this 2026 class I would like to see on Saturdays.

Cole is a 2026 stockriser out of Sturgis that caught my attention in the live eval at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase in Aberdeen this winter. You could gauge the upside this young man shows off, as one that I liked the agility and explosiveness he flashed in person, including recording a 9'2 broad jump and coming into our showcase with honest measurables. He also showed off a wide receiver that is opportunistic on tape as one that if his first look isn't there you can see the growing improvision he can make on the go. Cole shows to be efficent on short/mid routes as I would love to see with what he can do on deeper routes hopefully at camps this summer.

An All-Conference 2026 quarterback selection in the 2024 season, [player_tooltip player_id='1422315' first='Conway' last='Collins'] of Lyman was another one that the tape and outing at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase paid dividends for moving up our South Dakota rankings. The 6'1 160 pounder, threw for over 1400 passing yards as a junior as what sticks out on tape is the balance that Conway shows on intermediate/deep routes with his touch throws. Conway also shows off the good precision on those same routes as from these eyes as a growing upside throwing into tighter windows, as you see it on tape but I would love to see how much better his ball fits can get into the 2025 season. Certainly looks like a scholarship-level talent in my eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='849017' first='Randall' last='Powers'], OL, Avon Twitter

I have to say it, Randall was one that really surprised me with how agile his first step showed off to be on tape. The 6'2 280 pound All-Conference selection, shows off early dominance at the point attack and most the time just one punch gets the defender off base but does how ever show off agile hand speed which caught my attention. He is not an offensive linemen you want to meet at the second level, as that is when Randall can show off his downhill leverage sooner. Randall is a small town hidden gem to know out of the 9B powerhouse Avon Pirates.

Another 2026 mover in South Dakota came from Belle Fourche wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1177937' first='Riley' last='Hunt'], as Riley is the highest ranked prospects we have had in Broncs history if I can recall since we launched in 2020. Riley shows off early twitch you want to see off the start of his route as one that has consistently one the seperation battle early. What intrigues me with Riley is his open field vision he shows off, as you can tell this young man is built with a great football IQ that can only keep growing with time. He also is a knockback tackling linebacker that shows off the instincts to be a two-sided weapon for the Broncs. Riley is on my favorites on this list to yet again be a stockriser by next update too.
