is a big-bodied, physical offensive lineman who made headlines this offseason with his transfer from Fairfield Prep to Brunswick. At 6’2″ and a true 300 pounds, he brings prototypical interior-line mass and power that college coaches are actively evaluating. While still developing technically, Jjuuko’s natural strength and movement skills give him a high floor as a run-game specialist with upside to grow into a complete starter at the next level. Jjuuko possesses excellent upper-body strength that allows him to deliver a heavy, violent initial punch. He consistently drives defenders backward in the run game and can create displacement at the point of attack when he lands square. One of his clearest traits is the ability to “get to the edge” when pulling. He shows good lateral quickness and body control for a 300-pounder, enabling him to reach the second level or seal the edge on power/gap schemes and trap plays. This trait makes him an immediate asset in outside-zone or counter-gap schemes that require linemen to climb and lead through contact. Broad shoulders and thick lower half give him a sturdy base. He plays with a low pad level for his height and rarely gets washed out of plays once engaged. Jjuuko’s hands frequently land outside the frame or too high, allowing defenders to slip blocks or counter with inside moves. This is most noticeable against quicker pass-rushers who can disengage once his hands miss their target.
Footwork and mirroring in pass protection remain works in progress. He can be late to reset after the initial punch and occasionally opens his hips too early, creating lanes for edge rushers or inside counters. His anchor is solid when he’s square, but he loses balance when forced to slide or recover laterally. Jjuuko is an intriguing high-floor prospect whose combination of size, upper-body strength, and pulling ability already translates to immediate run-game impact at the collegiate level. Once he tightens his hand placement and pass-pro footwork, his ceiling rises significantly. College coaches looking for a plug-and-play guard/center with the athleticism to pull and the power to maul in the run game should be high on him. Brunswick’s upgraded competition level this season will give evaluators a clearer picture of his growth trajectory.
