Has the strength to control speed or power rushers with impressive speed in his center to swing hips to open holes or keep a clean pocket. Keeps form when blocking at the second level, explosive arms to knock down linebackers or safeties. Can sense a weakness in his opponent for good takedown skills. Crosley's stock has been rising with next level size and MAC offers to match. Crawford fires off the line like he knows the snap count, can get into the backfield with the best players in the state. Good body control to not only fire out of his stance, but be ready with speed moves to beat offensive linemen. Strong core for quick direction changes, can wrangle speed backs with quick reaction. Uses his high motor to fight through traffic, can handle double teams, keep momentum and get to the backfield. Crawford is an undersized defensive lineman, but with his body control uses his size to his advantage to get under pads or drop his shoulder to get past lineman. Good lateral movement to adjust his body along the line of scrimmage. Doesn't give up ground in pass protection to allow his quarterback to operate in a clean pocket. Plays defensive line, but impresses as an interior offensive lineman. Highly effective at chipping off blocks to become a receiver where his athleticism takes over. Very effective blocker on draw plays to open up the field for his running back by attacking safeties. Shows impressive form to be an added lineman in goal line situations, strong arms to control edge rushers. Has above average footwork with strong feet while remaining mobile laterally in pass pro. Goodspeed has put in a lot of work over three offseasons with his best work yet to come.
