A member of Annandale’s 2025 Class AAA state championship and 13-0 undefeated run, WR Cooper Broman Cooper Broman 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Annandale | 2027 State MN is in the midst of a stock rising offseason going into his senior year. A noticeably and impressively hard worker and experienced route runner, Broman was consistently getting open throughout the Macalester High-Academic Prospect Camp, and he also made one of the best catches of the entire afternoon, working and contorting his body to reel in a throw that was placed back and behind him. Broman was also showing some range as a safety on the defensive side of the ball. 3.98 GPA as well!

Unassuming, yet decisive, Broman was quick, effective, and instinctive at the top of the route, creating separation and earning impressive wins against some of the better defensive back competition in attendance at Sunday’s PJ Fleck RTB Prospect Camp.

Representing the defending Class AAA undefeated state champion Annandale Cardinals, 2027 WR Cooper Broman Cooper Broman 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Annandale | 2027 State MN put together a stock rising performance at the PRZMN Spring Showcase. In addition to his 4.82 40, Broman was powerful out of his cuts, physical, strong, and balanced when fighting through the press, and displayed solid releases at the LOS. Plus, acting as a verified deep threat, Broman tracked the deep ball well and could easily stack and burn CBs if he got a step on them. Good 1v1 showing in particular from Broman!

The defending Class AAA state champion Annandale Cardinals are going to have a lot of firepower and depth to replace this coming fall, but with pieces like WR/DB/returner Cooper Broman Cooper Broman 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Annandale | 2027 State MN coming back after the state title run, the Cards look like they’re in good hands. A three-sport athlete who also plays basketball and baseball for the Cardinals, 2027 Cooper Broman Cooper Broman 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Annandale | 2027 State MN also carries a 3.98 GPA for the high-academic programs out there, and he posted 6 receptions for 65 yards, 9 tackles, 1 PBU, 1 FR, and 1 35 yard kick return as a junior this past fall.

Broman demonstrates a big catch radius that can fully extend, snag, and reel in catches while toe-tapping the sideline and showing off awareness and body control, and he also displays some vision and explosiveness as a kick returner for good measure. Broman is quick and shifty in the open field, a solid tackler, and displays good ball skills, which proves useful as both a WR and DB. He’s a three-phase utility contributor who also can cover kickoff duty and finish catches through contact and big hits from his WR spot. Yet another name for DIIIs, NAIAs, and JUCOs to add to their recruiting boards!

Cooper was one that I got on my radar back at our spring Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase and had a sound outing offensively against Holy Family in the Cardinals receiving core. I was on the opposite end of the field for most of Cooper’s receptions but what impressed me with his receptions was the improved suddenness I saw getting yards after the catch which has certainly rose since last spring. Some of the receptions too from what I recall were in high traffic areas, which from my eyes Cooper looked more posied reeling those in as well. He’s one of a couple 2027 WRs that I like upccoming for the Cardinals.
