About Cole

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with an unmatched motor that allows me to make plays from any spot on the field. In addition, my aggressiveness stops teams on 3rd or 4th down and allows me to drive the ball carrier back, preventing further yardage. Once the play is over though, I help the opposing player up since he is a son of God as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Colossians 3:23 - Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart. The only thing that is in our power is our work ethic; God is responsible for the rest. No matter where I am on the field, I pride myself on not giving up on a play. I play as aggressive as I can and dominate on the field. However, once the whistle is blown I help the opposing player up. I play with both aggressiveness and class.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In freshman year, I participated in FFA where my team and I placed 3rd overall for Tool ID. In addition, I received bronze in the National French Exam and both the Math and Science Aficionado Award and the Fine Arts Aficionado Award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football has allowed me to develop leadership and a strong work ethic by teaching me to lead by example and with positivity rather than with negativity and hypocrisy. In addition, serving as a math and english tutor taught me patience, leadership, and accountability.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Because of my dad’s career in the Air Force, I have lived in 10 places and 3 countries throughout 15 years. Moving this often makes it extremely hard to set down roots in a place but I have used it as a way to learn to make the most of where I’m at and continue to stay dedicated to my goals, even through adversity.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I know I can improve my game the most with high level competition and dedicated coaches and teammates.
