Leary was on campus for the UC Davis junior day this past weekend. The 6’1″/230 LB and TE is an under-the-radar prospect out of Reno that showed promising traits as Reno’s leading tackler a season ago (82 total, 4 TFLs). Good length, athleticism, and range on defense and showed some flashes at TE as a junior. Leary’s an intriguing prospect watch for at the FCS to D-II levels.

Leary broke out as the top tackler for Reno this season with 82 total tackles and 4 TFLs. Athletic LB at 6’1″/220 that shows good length, range, and physicality around the LOS. Versatile player that made an impact in all three phases and showed some promising potential as a TE on offense. Patient off-ball run defender that can read, shed and scrape and showed some flashes on the edge this season. Leary’s an up-and-coming prospect that should come into next season as one of the top LBs in northern Nevada.
