Gonzalez is coming off a breakout fall where he finished with over 800 AP yards for Lambert. He works both ways, but is an obvious WR projection. He hovers around 5’11 160, and for that size, he drives hard off the line and threatens vertically quickly. He plays with really impressive hands and focus through contact, helping him play bigger and more physical than his size suggests. Gonzalez is a really solid player who can make plays at each level of the field, which is where the intrigue starts here.

Gonzalez finished with over 800 AP yards last year from Lambert, so he had a breakout of his own last year. Still, things are relatively quiet on the recruiting front here. Two-way player who will project out as a receiver. He is explosive off the line, quickly finding his top speed and cutting through cushion. He plays bigger than his 5’10 170 frame, which you can credit to his focus and hands through congested areas. Gonzalez is a rock-solid football player who produced against good competition as a sophomore. I am expecting him to continue building buzz for himself.
