Ellison is one of the premier QBs in the box state. Measures in at 5’10 185-pounds. He went 159/237 for 2964 yards, 67.1% completion rate, 35 TDs, 6 INT, 66 carries for 395 yards with 4 touchdowns. Very good athletic ability due to very good speed, change of direction, acceleration, and balance. Very good throw power and release. Smooth and fluid throwing motion. He has very good accuracy at all 3 levels. Very good pocket presence. Ellison is like Houdini in the pocket. He’ll use his shifty feet to make defenders miss and have them chasing him all day. Makes plays out of nothing and does a great job at extending plays. Very good off-platform throws. He’ll launch it downfield while on the run and maintain his accuracy. Very good ball placement skills. Ellison puts the ball exactly where it needs to be depending on the situation. Very good scramble ability. If nothing’s open, he’ll use his athletic ability to gain a first down and much more. I love this kid’s film and believe he’s already ready for the next level. Whatever college program gets him, is getting a magician at quarterback.

He’ll run around all day making defenders miss with his athleticism. Very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction, and balance. Very good throw power and accuracy. He bombed it downfield into a small pocket to Toray and made the catch. Very good ball placement skills. Ellison has very good throw on the run and very good off-platform throws. I was thoroughly impressed with his play against the top defense in the state.

Ellison has had a phenomenal junior season so far. The 5’10 185-pound QB has 121/174 for 2289 with a 69.5% completion rate and 27 TDs with 5 INT, including 43 carries for 291 yards and 3 touchdowns. Ellison has very good throw power paired with a very quick release. He launches it downfield effortlessly with pressure in his face. He has very good touch on his throws, making it easier for the receiver to catch. One thing about Ellison is his poise under pressure. He stays calm and accurate. If no one’s open, he will use his very good scramble ability to get the first down. Ellison is accurate all 3 levels, however his medium accuracy stands out to me the most. He isn’t afraid of standing in the pocket and taking a hit either. When he’s rolling out, he still maintains accuracy with his fluid hips. Ellison is a beast, and is looking to continue dominating into the playoffs.

Very good throw on the run. Ellison is a gunslinger and that shows with him throwing the most passing yards for 2027 QBs. He’s been on a great trajectory, and I’m excited to see how he performs next season.

Ellison delivered a solid performance under center, completing 11 of 27 attempts for 229 yards and two touchdowns. While he threw one interception, Ellison showcased excellent anticipation and accuracy in getting the ball to his playmakers in open space. His ability to stretch the field and create scoring opportunities was a driving force for Fairview’s success. However, limiting turnovers will be critical as the playoffs progress. Ellison’s leadership and playmaking ability make him a key figure to watch in the next round.
