FARGO-- We take a deep tape dive at what I feel are some of the best prospects that will play at the next level out of the city of Fargo. We spread the love to a handful of schools throughout Fargo and West Fargo in who I believe are some of the best of the best the city as to offer as far as next level talent.

The 6'1 175 pounder from Fargo Shanley certainly took him game up a handful of notches in 2024 as the tape shows more versatility as a route runner and a more obvious catch radius that shows off quickly within tight windows. In fact, I am a big fan of this young man hands too in those tight windows as the ball-tracking and poise Jake shows with his hands all show off great balance. Every pass-catching rep I have gotten from Jake's tape shows off more and more difficulty and success which is why I believe he is a great 2026 WR fit at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='674709' first='Alex' last='Meece'], DL, Fargo Davies 2026 Twitter

Note to offenses, you do not want to give this kid free-reign into your backfield as Alex's finessive motor and athleticism will cause a heck of an amount of physicality into your backfield. You can still bet that when he gets blocked, that Alex shows off the same finesse getting off his sheds and shows the short vision you want to see out of your defensive end. What I like about Alex's tape most is the value of reps you see him as a run stopper on the one-yard line which shows you that this young man has a clutch gene to unleash havoc when it matters most. Sure-fire looks like a solid defensive end at the next-level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1113068' first='Aiden' last='Samek'], RB/DB, West Fargo 2026 Twitter

Do not let his 5'9 165 pounder frame fool you, [player_tooltip player_id='1113068' first='Aiden' last='Samek'] has been a difference maker in the West Fargo Packers backfield this season and might I add is no sloutch of a defensive back either. The durability at that size does not take long to pop out on tape as Aiden shows off too that balance you want your tailback to have around the edges. He has really exceled improving his change of direction as that also flashes quickly on tape with his ability to flip his hips and flip the field with great development as far as his vision too. We knew that Aiden had some burst from our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, but man he has shown all of it as a next-level prospect even more at running back showing off more positional versatility for the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='533105' first='Ty' last='Geray'], RB, West Fargo Horace 2026 Twitter

Talk about a 2026 running back that has certainly risen his stock in this 2024 season, we are talking about West Fargo Horace's [player_tooltip player_id='533105' first='Ty' last='Geray'] with this one. We were always aware Ty had the speed at his disposal, however the seperation ability this young man has been able to get on long runs this year shows off the longevity he has with all speed to take it the distance. The vision Ty has shown on some of those big chunk runs too, as climbed up my radar as he is very sudden at the first level of setting up his run for length as you can tell the growth of his football field IQ has grown substancially since last season. Ty has also seen great growth in his change of direction as a north-south runner that commonly throttle and jukes thru the inside to find the edges of the field swiftly. He has to be one of the fastest tailbacks in Fargo for sure in this 2026 class that will get next-level opportunities for sure.

[player_tooltip player_id='1226688' first='Blake' last='McCarthy'], OL, Fargo Davies 2026 Twitter

The 6'0 265 pounder right guard for the Eagles, shows off a excellent finisher on the first several reps I watched on tape and wins his reps quickly with his persuasive foot speed as a pull-blocker, great pad-level and more. Getting even deeper into his tape, you also see the concrete angle blocks that add to Blake's skillsets as a 2026 guard prospect that is very proactive as a run-blocker. I also grasp at the strength Blake has at the point of attack, as on the bulk of the reps he pins his defender down very early. He surely should be a prospect you will see rising up our rankings and should get more early attention to play scholarship level football on Saturdays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1407835' first='Brennen' last='Gable'], DL, West Fargo Sheyenne 2026 Twitter

Breannen is a 6'0 220 pound defensive linemen that you can tell early, wins his reps with great technique with his hands and sheds and also has a sound football IQ. Love this kid's relentless downhill pressure as I can tell is a defensive linemen that has a great work ethic to climb his vision down into the heart of the ball carrier and one that has the athleticism to finish in very high traffic areas with his all-out physicality. He's very quick to identify how to position his body at the point of attack pre-snap and is another 2026 prospect on this list that might be slightly undersized for now, but getting him in a college weight room could make for position flexilbiity on the defensive line at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='533097' first='Israel' last='Bauer'], WR/DB, West Fargo Horace 2026 Twitter

Israel was one of my handful of standouts from the Dakota State prospect camp this summer and has continued his growth on both sides of the ball. He has continued to show the great speed on his routes that I saw this summer and I feel after watching him in that live-eval that he has a longer stretch for his 5'11 165 pound frame than he will get credit for. He certainly has taken his route-running up a notch with his growing route-tree and has gotten swifter with his change of direction surely with his routes. I originally evaluated Israel as a cornerback for a reason, as he has had multiple game-sealing interceptions thus far this season for the Hawks as his instinctive football IQ surely looks like a scholarship level talent on either side of the ball in my eyes.
